Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
The Chinese place great importance on life energy, or Chi as they call it. They have studied it for thousands of years and have discovered there are many different kinds of chi.
Reiki is a special kind of Chi or Ki. It is Ki that is guided by the spiritual consciousness, and is defined as spiritually guided life energy.
